Shinade Allder

As President of Unifor Local 6005 and Unifor’s Ontario Regional Chair, I’ve been fighting for workers’ rights and advocating for fair treatment and opportunities for all. My work as Co-Founder of the Black Education Fund and on the board of Unity Hopeful Charity reflects my deep commitment to uplifting marginalized voices and creating real, lasting impact.

I’ve been recognized with the Platinum Jubilee Award, the Leading Women Leading Girls Award, and the International Woman Achievers Award for my dedication to our community, and now, I’m ready to bring that same passion and energy to representing London West in Parliament. What we do together can make a difference!

Paul Pighin

I have spent much of my life advocating for equality, inclusion, and justice. My journey began as a member of the Canadian National Gymnastics Team, where I competed from the age of eight until my early twenties. As an elite athlete, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and perseverance—lessons that would serve me well in the face of significant personal challenges.

I was diagnosed with HIV at a time when treatments were limited, and fear, stigma, and misinformation surrounded the virus. The experience shaped me profoundly, and for the last twenty years, I have been a tireless advocate for people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as for LGBTQ2I rights and disability advocacy. As I look to the future, I am more committed than ever to building a Canada that is equitable, inclusive, and just for all.
